These include:

  • Anyone aged over 70

  • Under 70’s with an underlying health condition listed below (i.e. anyone instructed to get a flu jab as an adult each year on medical grounds):  Chronic (long-term) respiratory diseases, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema or bronchitis

  • Chronic heart disease, such as heart failure

  • Chronic kidney disease

  • Chronic liver disease, such as hepatitis

Chronic neurological conditions, such as Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), a learning disability or cerebral palsy

  • Diabetes

  • Problems with your spleen – for example, sickle cell disease or if you have had your spleen removed

  • A weakened immune system as the result of conditions such as HIV and AIDS, or medicines such as steroid tablets or chemotherapy

  • Being seriously overweight (a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or above)

  • Those who are pregnant

If you are not in the high risk category, we are happy to undertake the survey as long as no one in the household has any symptoms of a cold or flu.

Our Assessors will be wearing additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which include gloves, face masks, and shoe covers. It is also advised that during the visit physical distancing is maintained by keeping a minimum of 2 metres apart.

If you have booked with us but prior to the visit you develop symptoms, you can either put the visit on hold, or cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before the visit.

If you are a landlord and you have arranged for us to meet the tenant, please make sure you provide us with the tenants contact details and also advise the tenants of the information mentioned above.
