Sap Calculations

What are SAP Calculations?

SAP stands for “Standard Assessment Procedure” and is the UK Government’s recommended method system for measuring the energy rating of residential dwellings. The reports are required to show compliance with Part L of the building regulations. SAP calculations are produced by an acredited On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA).

Our team of qualified Assessors undertake Sap Calculations throughout the UK. We are competiviely priced and we’ll work closely with you to make sure your project is compliant for building control. Simply contact us by one of the methods below.

Sap For New Builds

We’ll work with you to ensure your project is compliant.

DESIGN STAGE

Before building can commence, SAP Calculations are required at the design stage by your Building Control to demonstrate that the proposed dwelling will meet the new build standards in terms of CO2 emissions and the dwelling energy efficiency.

AS BUILT STAGE

On completion of the property, the SAP Calculations will take account of the actual elements fitted, again demonstrating compliance and finally a SAP Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) will be lodged on the Government register.

SAP For Conversions

If you’re converting a dwelling for change of use, you’ll need SAP calculations done by an accredited Assessor to demonstrate to building control compliance with Part L1B of the building regulations.

We’ll work with you to ensure your conversion is compliant.
