What's involved during an EPC survey?
During a domestic EPC visit, the assessor records the information needed to calculate the home’s energy performance:
- Age, construction and dimensions
- Heating and hot-water systems
- Insulation
- Windows, doors and lighting
Please arrange access to the rooms, heating controls and loft where accessible. Have any documents showing insulation or heating upgrades available for the assessor to review.
The information is entered into approved assessment software and the certificate is lodged on the official EPC register. Our normal delivery time is two to three days after the visit; ask about the express option if you have a deadline.
